Special Olympics Torch Run
The Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics happened in Stewart's Care, Palmerstown on June 12th. The Special Olympics Torch was escorted by members of the Garda Traffic Corp, the Mounted Unit and the Dublin Fire Brigade, & carried by the Stewarts Care Special Olympics team into Stewarts Care, where it was greeted by families and friends of everyone in Stewarts Care. Des Cahill was MC on the day. The event created great excitement across campus and the athletes received an amazing send-off ahead of the All-Ireland Games.
