Supported Independent Living Award
We're excited to share that Stewarts Care's Supported Independent Living program has won "Best Healthcare Initiative for Disability Services" at the Irish Healthcare Awards. This award is a significant recognition for the program and for everyone at Stewarts Care who has contributed to its success.
The programme forms part of the Stewarts Care Strategy 2022-2026 which focuses on enriching the lives of the people supported by Stewarts Care through providing the right service, for the right person, at the right time.
The programme takes a person-centred approach to supporting participants to live more independently. Participants are supported and enabled to make their own choices and decisions and to create meaningful roles for themselves in the community that they live in.
Congratulations again to the Supported Independent Living Team and to everyone who supports the programme and has helped make it so successful, creating homes for people supported by Stewarts Care.
