This Programme aims to achieve a national unified approach to delivering disability health services so that there is a clear pathway to the services for all children regardless of where they live, what school they attend or the nature of their disability or delay.

Under this programme, children should receive the health services they need as close to their family home as possible. The programme will involve the reconfiguration of the Clinical staff currently working with children in all disability services and these Clinicians will be working on Children’s Disability Teams.

In CHO 7 there will be 8 CDTs. Stewarts Care will be the lead agency for two of these teams , CDTs 5 and 6. Further information on PDS can be found on the HSE website: Enquiries by email to: CHO7:
