Mill Lane Training Centre is a training facility located on Mill Lane, Palmerstown, just outside the main Stewarts Care campus, offering a variety of training modules in a meaningful and therapeutic environment. It provides a day service for 16 full-time and three part-time day attenders, Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 4.30pm. There are five staff assigned to this programme. There is capacity for 18 day attenders.

The primary areas of training are horticulture, arts, and creativity, pottery, personal and life skills.

The horticultural area is engaged in grounds maintenance, growing and supplying vegetables for Café Kaizen and the Coach House. The pottery, arts and creativity areas offer a wide scope in the use of creative media, giving self-expression to day attenders. The personal and life skills programme provides day attenders with knowledge, training and practical skills leading to improved independent living.

Day attenders are encouraged to develop and set individual goals and take part in physical, social and community activities. Day attenders can be referred to the job advocate support service (JASS), Employability and waitlist for work experience both internally within the organisation and externally. Day attenders are offered a range of training modules that they can chose to participate in.
